Yes, situation here is very complicated. But this game just want to show horrible battles in Fallujah. Against Al Quaeda and similar groups. It is important to ask about other side of invasion on Iraq or Afghanistan. About war crimes against civilians. Game focused on battle in which Iraqi Army with coalition tried to fight against AQ insurgents. Many of insurgents probably just wanted freedom. But actions perfomed by them - like beheadings and other war crimes, won't lead to anything good. So that is why, coalition started a war with them. But during war - sometimes it is very hard to see which side is good or bad. That's why war is horrible. For both sides - no matter what political, ideological or religious feelings they have.

It's hardly something else than a warcrime, if you level a whole city, well informed that over 30k civilians are still inside. The US used thermobaric, white phosphorus and depleted uranium weapons and it's well documented what remained after the battle: Most parts of the city were rubble. Regardless of the white phosphorus, the usage of thermobaric weapons is not really better, it doesn't really count as precision weapon and crushes, suffocates and slaughters everyone without distinction.

But while I agree with you on a political and military command level, it fails to adress this game. This game is about the grunt and his mates on squad-level, who have no say in these things and depicts the nightmare of them fighting against an enemy that isn't less brutal than the warmachine of the US itself.
