Mic Issues

I lose the ability to contact my team mid AS SOON as the game starts after the cut scene. I am getting pretty irritated with this. Its ONLY me

No, I have the same issue except my mic does not work anymore when I launch the game. I can play all my other games with my mic like Arma 3, Squad, and Ready or Not. It makes the game unplayable when you require teamwork and communication to play.

Thanks for trying to help but it still does not work. I have done this before and just tried again. In addition, I made sure that no app had exclusive control of my mic. For some reason it even affects Discord when I launch the game as it cuts my mic off on that too. Its really frustrating as I have no problems like this with any other game. I can play Arma 3, Squad, Ready or Not just fine and simultaneously with DIscord.

I have a Blue Yeti as my mic and a Hyperx Cloud 2 as my headset for sound. I have also tried using the mic on my headset, which can be plugged or unplugged to the headset, but that still does not work. I have even debated refunding the game till it gets fixed, but that was just me venting my frustrations and I am just waiting out till I find a solution or the developers patch it.

yeah i share your same frustrations. That and always getting the damn SAW in a match make me want to refund it lol

I've not heard anyone use voice since purchase (played about fourteen 4-man missions so far). Am I experiencing a totally different issue?

try using a VPN+dedicated IP it worked for me through surfshark

This is one of the known issues[support.sixdays.com]we're tracking. We're working on implementing visual feedback in the audio settings that will indicate if your mic's getting picked up from the game. This isn't exactly a fix, but this will help narrow down the issue.

Would you mind adding feedback of who's talking, at least in the lobby?

In missions I don't mind that much but in the lobby to match a voice to the names would be useful.

Ive got the Hyperx Cloud Revolver S, and it seemed to work just fine untill today. FIrst couple of minutes ingame its working and all the sudden noone can hear me. Last match Ive just lost total communications with the whole squad. Couldnt hear them and I (assume) that they couldnt hear me.

Same here after 15 hours I lost my mic and mate voice sound. Tried some fixes but nothing worked. Its only in game not in discord or somewhere else.
