Six Days in Fallujah

Six Days in Fallujah

Vezi statistici:
Let us pickup dead enemies weapons.
"BUT Realism, the marines didnt do that, etc..."

I don't care, if push comes to shove and I'm out of ammo, I want to pick up that AK on the ground.

3:23 in video, A Marine is using a captured AK in a firefight during the Battle of Fallujah. Anyone saying it didn't happen either didn't watch the video or are naive to think enemy weapons were/are not used during combat operations.
Was it done once in a blue moon? Yes. But it was also heavily discouraged as doing so resulted in friendly fire incidents.
Forgot enemy weapons... If I die, let me pick up the weapon I dropped. I get randomly 360 no scopped by a sprinting PKM, I wanna be able to pick that SAW back up and return the favor.

Yea, that i def agree with. Its probably gonna take some time to model the animations for enemy weapons anyway, if they ever decide to do that.

Picking up our own mags/throwables/etc would be great.

Dude, Marines are literally taught enemy weaponry before combat operations, this is normally done during the "work-up" to the deployment. If found in a situation where push comes to shove, an enemy weapon (most commonly an AK) might be the difference between life and death. "Not taught to do so" and exigent circumstances are two different things.

I got to get behind a PKM during a foreign weapons familiarization training and fell in love. Russian weapons are far superior to anything American.
Maybe let a guy pick up the saw if someone dies for example. Thats a friendly weapon but cant be picked up, but would be damn useful if it could be
What are you shooting at that you're completely out of ammo? Like I've done plenty of successful ops now where I don't come anywhere near firing off all my rounds.

I provide a lot of cover fire especially indoors when guys get incapped. Im not shy about shooting, take out alot of targets each game, and like i mentioned previously I constantly provide cover and suppressive fire when I can.

@5:05 is what would happen if someone got caught repeatedly firing enemy weapons, even with a semi-reasonable excuse. If Higher were to catch wind of it, your ass is probably going to be served as lunchmeat unless it's some next-level Robert's Ridge-esque last stand.
I was an 11B in the Army, picking up an enemy weapon was never discussed or encouraged. In fact, even IF you did run out of ammo which is unlikely because a standard combat load is 210 rds or 7x30 RD mags. likely the thought wouldn't even enter your head. It's just not in the training.

Who knows if that poorly maintained AK and ammo is either booby trapped or about to explode in your face from a misfire.

Not worth the risk and therefore not worth even considering when your in the most powerful military force in human history.

Thank you for posting the GK scene. Always loved that bit.

picking up AK's and other enemy weapons would just spiral into edgelords who insta-drop their rifle just so they can swap it for the AK because its "gangsta"

I like how the AAVs "realistically" blast emplacements for you with their chain guns. Oh wait...

Lol.
