So in short there wont be any dismemberment in that sense.
This. Day of Infamy updated gore is pretty much the golden standard.
Or in general, this guy makes good videos about how gore could and should look:

Will there be basic amounts of gore though? Like if I shoot an insurgent in the head pointblank with a shotgun does his head bob back and forth or will it actually explode?
That would complicate the whole "Player" object multiple times than just a simple mesh.
If this was something like L4D then sure but for a tactical FPS like this i guess blood is good enough.
If it was available for "free" then i would like to have super realistic gore too but it would be a new vector to generate bugs as well as it should not be something to spend too much dev time on as it is super low priority iMo.
True but all I'm looking for in this is if i shoot a guy in the leg is he going to bleed and leave a trail i can follow to were hes hiding or trying to patch himself up/get medical help... You see this in games like DayZ and Escape from Tarkov(somewhat complicated medical system) and also in the extreme like in Arma 3 ACE mod and games like S.C.U.M (I feel like you need to have basic medical training at least to understand that health/medical system)....
OR if i shoot the guy and he goes down is he going to cry out in pain until i double tap him like in insurgency and RO2, Or get back up if it wasn't fatal and shoot me in the back like in Ready or not?
New gameplay has come out that kinda answers most of the gore/death animation questions...

The goal of the game is not to convey a message but rather to have fun, isn't it?
