Unacceptable Soft-Lock

So I was in the void vault fighting Azazel, and after I beat him I realised that I can't get out of the void vault because he sent my spirits to the void during the fight. Because of this I am now stuck because I cannot summon any spirits in the Void Vault either. Considering the nature of the situation, I think this should be fixed immediately because it does not make any sense that you would be punished for fighting in there. It's Azazel, of course there's a chance I'm going to lose some spirits. Why did this get through in the finished game? I've been playing since Early Access and time and time again I find more ridiculous issues that need to be fixed. Crom, please fix this. I really like this game and it annoys me every time something like this degrades it. I know allowing the player to go through the vault without any spirits technically doesn't make any sense but it's only fair because there's a chance that they'll get sent to the void.

Do you have a green circle left outside the vault anywhere? Had to use my black chalk to get out of there myself.

I'm truly sorry for your frustrations. You are right these things are quite unacceptable, that's why I try to fix every single situation like it. I'm grateful you care enough to voice it too. The latest patch fixes the issue with the Vault barrier.

Agreed, I got stuck in a void vault the same way but thankfully the void chalk was able to get me out. I think after a defeat your spirit and their equips should stay, spirits heal after battles are done anyway so it just serves to be an annoyance where you have to spend a minute equipping them again.

Or just make it so once a void door is unlocked its permanent, either works.
