Love the game. So many things to do and so many routes to take a playthrough between the morality choices, tech tree, progression lines, hybrids, all the micro and macro management. Highly recommend.

Love: animal variants, hyrbids, evil corporation options, benevolent zoo options. I can choose to play it like a zoo tycoon, or a mad scientist with mutant animals, or become a megafarm murdering exotic animals, or become a self sustaining zoo. There is always a minimum of a dozen things to do at any given time.

Ways it could improve:
a highlight to move system for building so I can move groupings of structures like a whole decor layout over.
Save anytime. Having a pause system without save anytime is detrimental to anyone who keeps the game paused for major changes. I quit playing a 36 hour save because my renovation crashed 4 hrs in.
More user friendly UI for my animals so I can at a glance see all animals in an enclosure without having to scroll through a single row bar, or navigate to the donation list to get to something closer to a easily readable list.

Pretty good

Really fun. As someone who likes to change things up frequently in these games, I like how easy it is to decorate and rearrange your Zoo with 0 damage to your finances etc (as far as I've seen anyway). You can pick up whole exhibits and move them or reshape them as you wish. You can pick up shops etc too.

Each animal has 10 different variants, and you can breed them or rescue them to collect them. I really enjoy stuff like that but others might find it tedious as it can be quite time consuming. I'm 20 odd hours in and only mapped 11 genomes.

The research unlocks are seriously all over the place and hidden unless you unlock something in an adjacent square, I kinda like the surprise but can be off putting to others.

All in all, if you like more chilled management games, this could be a cute time sink for you.
