Then everything was empty. It was really disheartening. I went from 5k visitors a day to 100.
There are several posts with the same Dev making an appearance one where they note the issue and another where they seemingly dismiss it and say "there is a building to fix that later" - so with no patch and no confirmation that the issue is resolved or being looked at - recommendation to basically have the same result several people are now describing - i 1 button press zoo wipe.
That really doesn't sit right with me because these recent pots are indications of where the game stands right now and this very blase approach to something so utterly ruinous for anyone who sinks anytime into the game seems very very dismissive.
I fullly appreciate the team will be working on Dungeon but i also saw the last update explicitly stated "we still have big plans for Zoo" so is that true? has that sentiment changed now dungeon demo is out?
Can anyone help answer some of these questions as both myself and a few friends have been eyeballin LBAZ ready to purchase but this post alongside the post beside it are concerning.
I found some answers in their active Discord community and also posed my own question there. Tonight I am working through reviving my zoo and the bounce back isn't difficult to get back into the full swing. I still pulled the trigger to pick up both DLCs in the sale today. Despite the set back, I enjoy this cozy zoo designer/manager with the funky animal fusions and I'm particularly excited for the Aquarium DLC. ><>
I'm willing to admit that I didn't know enough about the building before I enabled the settings. A lot of this game is discovery by trial, observation, and error, which I'm not adverse to in games, but this a bit of a brutal lesson if it is one. So far the building seems to be behaving as I play tonight? Certainly going to avoid the 'clear excess' filter and manually remove animals until I figure it out.
Kind of you to speak up but it would be nice if you could provide those answers and questions please?
Thank you !
As for my specific question/experience on this building, no one engaged with my question in Discord. So there is no answer to share.
i do not know because i play an evil campaign so i do not get the hub i get the evil version and it works just fine.
