All my crop pickers go into the same farming plot, they don't go into different crop.

They can be zoned I think, through processor

Crop Pickers and Farmers work on the same AI - zerg one plot until it's fully completed, then move on to another plot.

As @Igregorash said, I believe they can be instructed to only work certain plots through the 'Zone' feature on an employee's page; but that can be a lot of work, I haven't messed with it too much yet.
