How to fly dodo?

Tried the original controls for GTA 3, didnt work. Dosen't seem to be anything in control settings. Don't tell me to use a controller, i bought this game on PC for a reason.

You have to hold down M1 and then move your mouse up or down. It's very poorly implemented because there's no fine control over how fast the nose pitches and it's also the same controls for modern driveby which means you're shooting your gun as the same time as well...

Moving it slightly can just instantly put you into a backflip for example, so a controller is still the best method unfortunately. It was even worse before. Before it got patched you literally could not pitch the dodo in any way without a controller. "Dodo up" and "Dodo down" controls are missing completely. Then the mouse control from VC's Skimmer got implemented in which just doesn't work well with the Dodo physics due to how slight the adjustments need to be.

The Dodo controls are screwed up to begin with because this is a port of the mobile versions (used analog virtual sticks) and they were too lazy to add in the proper binds again, probably because the Dodo was not meant to be flown without a bug anyway.

ugh. i wish they just used the PS2 or PC versions to make the definitive editions. The original PC version works fine and has dedicated sections in the controls menu. Thanks anyway.

I actually will tell u the same things, I dont reach to fly the dodo yet, but I will still recommend to play with controller, actually, as a PC player, try to be flexible between both controls, I always switch between them while playing

No fine control or crazy stunts though. Dodo isn't hard at all the fly when you know the trick, sadly you need a controller on PC though.

i was trying to get 100% via flying to portland but i just drove the dodo on the ground to there.

Still couldn't fly with a controller, up/down was fine, but it was just going too slow or something.

Yeah, I did the same thing in the end. I couldn't fly the damn thing.
