It seems like she gets like that when you are progressing quickly and ignoring her a lot or pushing her. If you play her game she usually does not insta kill you. Though this is just speculation so far from the little bit of time I have been playing it.

Well if I lose her game, she also instantly kills me.
I think she should just take off a big chunk of your health instead of having to risk dying instantly.

if you have 6/7 pages she can one shoot you also its happen when you are mean to her for long periode seem there a limit of what she can forgive .

I dont mind myself adds to the intensity of the games. Before the update hard mode was not even that hard so im all for it.

Not sure on all the triggers for her insta-kill state, but taking too long is one of them, she'll start moving slower and will look visibly tired with bags around her eyes. Getting attacked them will result in a 1 hit KO.

on yangire , if you play yangire, she'll instantly kill you if you try to pick the key from her hands, on normal/hard, if you piss her off too much or tire her out ( because you took too long) she'll switch to insta kill mode.

Hard mode is now you need to be careful at how many times saiko can be pissed and ofc its easier for her to get angry in hard mode and do one shots so the game on hard mode forces you to complete your task quickly or carefully or dont let saiko get too much angry if you wanna do it the passive way
