I admit, I kind of miss it, but I really enjoy all the things we did get and I love that aerial combat was intended to be used as a platforming mechanic.
Gonna have to give this game a rest, cuz in 12 hours it just gave me straight up carpal tunnel.
There are loads of sequence breaks possible in this game, I got the final compass immediately after getting the 1st, and using broken movement tech I was able to get the end-game movement stuff right after.

Nice find with the ghetto double jump.
That's only because you have Pulse Fly, a late game movement tech. Try turning off the memory and doing the same move.
