No, it is VR only. However, you are in luck my friend! There is a separate, non-VR version made by Home Net Games before this. It's free, but it has no proper multiplayer and some planes are DLC's, usually about a dollar or two dollars each. There's also a WW2 version.

Funny I have been playing the demo with my old thrustmaster joystick, I assume if you buy the real thing it won't let you go that far ?

Yes it is the same thing happening with me ? I can not use my mouse nor my XBox 360 Game-pad nor my Microsoft Force Feedback nor my Logitech / Saitech Flight Yoke to fly the game nothing works, and I only see two VR options to play the game , there is not any non- VR options to play the game. This was not mentioned before I bought the game , this is ridiculous !

There most certainly should be a warning that mouse control is not included. We still have stop signs at roadways as well. Humans are not yet infallible, so cover all angles!!!!!

This is a flying game. You can't fly right with a mouse.

Part of the joy is because is VR.

All non-VR games are 2D games, in VR you are seeing everything in 3D and in real scale around you.
The VR controls allows you to play as grabbing a real stick in your hands, and also certain actions like actually grabbing a virtual flare gun with your hands and aim correctly.

All these things, without VR are not possible or degraded as using an XBOX controller.

As very humble recommendation, pick any VR hmd, you won't believe how much you were missing in many games, starting with this one :)

When you advertiser a game such as this then it should state VR only. Very disappointed. Too bad it appears to be a very good game that has alot of potential. Devs state that you can play with HOTAS not so. Also when you go into adjust the controls the game will not let you back into the menu without hitting control alt delete and retarting game. waste of time I am returning unless you decide to honor your statements that HOTAS works????
