Is this like Rampage?

I know there's a rampage mode, but is that a co-op mode where you and someone can just run around and destroy buildings? Not sure if anyone remembers the old school rampage games, but I'm looking for something like that. Is this it?

I think one of the mini-game modes focuses on 'who can destroy buildings the fastest', but overall this game is much deeper than that. This is closer to things like Power Stone and Super Smash.
If you want a sidescroller where your only objective is to knock over buildings, then I would suggest Terror of Hemasaurus :)

there was a game on ps2 called war of something that had the same premise and also similar character... forgot name of game though.
