The characters are so overpowered that I'm not even using their kits. You can clear any level easily with just crouching and basic attacks of two characters at most. When you use everything it's a cakewalk.
I also really don't care for the crew stories. None of the characters are interesting to me and their stories are just a chore to go through.
Blades of the Shogun was a great game. Desperdaos 3 was amazing. Shadow Gambit is a letdown.
"Bark and Bramble" and "Haggling With a Plant" take place on the same map. The enemies I previously killed have respawned. With seemingly no variation. Same time of day. Uhm... WHAT?
So not only the difficulty is much lower than in the previous games, I now also have to to busywork. 93% positive on Steam somehow.
Is this going to happen later on as well? Different missions on the same map?
Now I just started the captain's tests. Started with Pinkus, the first one. It sends me to Iron Bay. In the prison area. Which I clearly remember clearing out during Yuki's DLC where I had to steal something. The guard placement is almost identical except for Salazar missing. So far this is the worst example of repetition I have seen.
I'm playing Sumerian Six right now and the gameplay is way better. Levels are a lot tighter and characters aren't as overpowered. You actually have to think a bit and there isn't a pointless boat section where the game attempts to be funny endlessly and fails completely.
