Badge Assistance: "Death From Above" (Yuki DLC)

I'm trying to get Yuki's "Death From Above" badge, but it's not triggering. I've killed more than three guards from inside the castle (by the red dragon head) when the icon shows the little red skull symbol. Does this badge only pop on level end?

It does not.

How I got this was I got perched in three locations.

Ordered everyone to jump and get their murder, got the badge, and then restored a memory so I could do this level /sensibly/ instead of doing this gratuitous pounce. You absolutely can get this before level end.

Ok, thank you for the clarification! I've tried that many times (even abandoning the mission and starting again). I'll eventually figure out what I'm doing wrong :)

Which locations did you get the badge? I've tried a hundred of times but still struggling with this one. Could it be glitched?

For me, it only worked when all three characters simultaneously (!) jumped from the same roof level inside the castle. When I tried to do this along with killing two judges, the badge didn't count (apparently, due to the specifics of the roof, there was a delay in the animation). It only worked when I did a jump kill from two corner small houses, luring one guard into the jump radius. The badge drops immediately, at the moment of successful completion of the task.

For me, I first killed every guard in the castle except the two near the corners of the left and right building, and the guard doing a circle patrol in the lower right. I then saved because two of the guards have lights that will get extinguished when you drop kill (and I was also going for the Firekeeper badge). I then took Yuki and drop killed each one, one at a time. The patrol guy is a little tricky as you have to perch on the fence near the ivy to drop down on him. The badge will trigger when you kill the last guard. You can then recall the memory and kill them with Teresa (or Virgilio as Teresa) to keep their lights going.

The Iudexes on the roof don't count, you need 3 drop kills onto the ground level of inside the castle walls. They don't need to be simultaneous.
