Gaelle Captain's Mission 2 Bug?

Hi,

I am in the 2nd captain's mission with Gaelle, and after entering the warehouse with Arimitice, she does not come out and does not react to any commands anymore. Also, the mission goal "Take Arimitice" is never ticked off, not sure it has anything to do with that.

I come to his house, knock, shoot an unconscious commissario, pick Arimitice up in the cannon and enter the warehouse with him. Tried restarting the mission with other characters, same result.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Just got there myself. The other two characters can enter and leave the warehouse, but she's stuck in there.

Unfortunately their bug report form pops an error, can't submit.

we are looking into that. if we dont find a quick workaround i will write here how you can maybe still go forward with playing by using a cheat or something!

alright, so we have investigated it.
its an issue we will have to patch. i cannot say for sure when the patch is going to come out, since we are still checking other stuff and waiting for other reports and pushing patches sometimes can take a little time.
if you dont want to wait for that fix, you can use cheats to complete the mission and keep playing.
to do this, do the following:
in the ingame options menu type "thisisnotsupported2" without the "".
a popup should appear telling you cheats are now activated.
now in the mission you can press ctrl+q and it will complete it directly.
there isnt much happening after the part you played, so you wont miss too much. but there is a couple of dialogues, so maybe i suggest watching those on youtube if you dont want to miss them.
if you restart the game on the hub after the mission, the cheats will be deactivated again (i suggest doing that! since otherwise the game knows you are cheating and certain things might not work, for example i dont know if you can get badges while cheating).

a quick word of warning:
this cheat-code unlocks quite a bit of development options and things you can tinker around with. i STRONGLY recommend NOT doing anything else besides what i described, since if you dont know what you are doing you can brick your progress or make weird stuff happen.
so i only suggest you use the ctrl+q hotkey once and play on normally. or wait for the patch when the issue is fixed.

Hi! Thank you very much for the quick answer and confirmation. Luckily for me, it only happened after finishing the game with only a few captain's missions left, so I can wait, as there is still plenty of other stuff to do. Other folks, however, might not be so lucky if they choose Gaelle as one of the four characters to do the captain's test to advance the story. Your continued support for the game is highly appreciated!

Sadly the things i mentioned dotn work on consoles. So you either have to wait for the patch, or there is something else you can do.
Abort the mission, so you are back on the Marley. Now go back to the main menu.
In the main menu go to options and then , input:
"RIGHT, L2, DOWN, R1, LEFT, LEFT, R1, L1, L2, L1"
This will open a tool that allows you to re-create progress. You can use this to complete gaelles current mission. Then select "apply" and the game will load again. Now if you press "continue" the mission should coutn as completed and let you go on with her last mission.

Got stuck there too and the cheatcode-workaround worked. Bugs happen … But, honestly, it's very professional of you devs to implement an emergency exit out of such situations until the fix is ready. Thank you for the help and the game in general

Thanks, coru! I also was stuck and replayed the mission twice, but the cheat code let me finish the mission. Off to the next adventure!

I have the same problem. I noticed, that carry Arimtice in the cannon did not trigger,
Gaelle can enter the warehouse with him, dialogue pops up, but than she can`t leave. I guess, because the former did not trigger? And therefore the badge not to put him down did not trigger either.
It worked before, so it must be due to the update or Zagan DLC?

Also "A far cry" did not trigger in this mission.

When I enter this mode on PS5, it doesn't show me the active Gaelle 2 mission, but when I click on the first option, I can click through all the missions, which changes my save. I'd rather not mess around and wait for the patch. When can we expect it?

Got stucked here too, thanks for the work-around.
For anyone else trying, be careful with the keyboard difference when typing the code if you don't have qwerty.

Yes, this sucks. We are working on the patch since we heard about the issue. It's extremely frustrating that this didn't get caught in our QA processes.
