Upgrade or challenges for Virgilio?

After unlocking Virgilio the game tells me there`s an upgrade to unlock but i got all 8 upgrades and cant unlock any more.
Virgilio also isnt shown in the logbook as a crewmember.
Is it a bug?
Is there any upgrade or challenges for him?

for me its the same. as far as i know he neither has an upgrade for his abilities since he doesnt really have any (he just mimics other characters), nor are there any challanges or crew missions tied to him, thats why he isnt in the logbook. i also got the message with the upgrade, despite having all upgrades and 4 additional tokens laying around since there seems to be limit to the vigour level. so thats also normal.

Virgilio does not have any upgrades or challenges :)

And yes, its possible to collect more upgrade points than there are characters available (just for fun, it has no purpose)

Ah ok thank you.

The upgrade message popped up right after unlocking him so i thought there`s one for him.

Would be so cool if you could add challenges for him :D

We thought about doing that but at that point we already had so many badges + most of his challenges would be like the regular character badges since he just takes their skills :)

There could be badges for pairing up Virgilio with the character he is copying at the time, like having two people in a time freeze at once.

Or use a Gaelle - Gaelle combo to get to a target without walking.

I already do that for fun :)

Fixed Upgrades and Crew Tales objectives still being shown in the UI after already completing all of them

I though this patch fix means the text prompt should disappear?

The prompt “you can start a crew tale” did disappear. But the “upgrade available” prompt remained.

I believe it is an area for improvement where UI continue displaying elements that have no further use (eg black pearl count and soul energy count. As well as the vigor bar after full upgrade.)
