Challenge in "Fragments" mission?

Killing Iudex without stepping in water is either bugged or I'm missing something...

I have had problem with this badge as well. i think it is bugged because usually there is warning if some badge fail, but this not have it.

You do have also have to complete the mission to get the badge.

I am trying to do this badge and failing, while I am sure that I blinked over any water (there was no sound/splash animation).

Do I have to collect fragments and do whole mission? I was going straight for Iudex and then nearest tear (still blinking over water)

No, I complete the mission without any fragments

Thanks for confirmation Sunako. I restarted the game and I'm pretty sure I did exactly same thing as before and this time I got the badge.

I had the same issue for this one, couldn't get it to register even if I didn't get any sound ripples and blinked over water.

I finally got it by making sure I wasn't near the water's edge when it 'lapped up' on the beach.

Going over the left side, killing the comissar, blink over the river, go down the ladder to the beach (Watch the bottom of the ladder, it's one of the areas where the water animation sometimes goes over the sand). Go towards the lighthouse hugging the edge, blinking through the palm tree that would force you to go near the water's edge.

Crouch near the path to the lighthouse, blink across the first plank gap, you'll get spotted by the iudex, move close to the second plank gap and Grand Blink to the Iudex (Barely in range).

Drop the Iudex body on one of the guards below, kill the second guard and stab the unconscious one.

Getting back is doing it in reverse, but using blink twice to get across both plank bridges. Careful for the first one, the water animation laps up over the sand leading up to it at some points.

Once back up the ladder on the other side of the river where the first commissar was, it's all a matter of going up the vine, killing the 2 guards and then getting to the Custodes and exiting.

This challenge would really benefit from being told when it fails like the others...

Definitely weird challenge. Completed it on like 5th try (all the same) and 1st try after setting water quality to low (but maybe it was just random).

After many attempts I finally got it. I think you have to do the mission without unleashing any memory.
