No, this topic? YOU stop doing that crap.
I doubt you want to improve/change anything, just complain.
Actually, above poster is correct. This topic is bait, this user is in multiple game forums all doing the same thing: complaining --- big 'crochety old fart' vibes.
I personally find this genre of games to be very relaxing, as they really have no urgency and are really puzzle games enveloped in copious amounts of murder. Shadow Gambit is a good entry in the Commandos-like subgenre and I do recommend it.
2. Why buy a game designed in a way you dislike and then complain it should be made differently, when many people like this type of game? Just avoid what you do not like; not all games have to be the same and appeal to you specifically. .
i disagree with what OP said, but you don't know if they own the game or not. they could have bought it from another store such as GOG, or even on console.
I mean they couldn't pick the worse timing in between BG3 and Starfield. I played 2 hours trial on PS5 and this game is really fun, the problem is, it would gain much more popularity attraction if only it's not clenched between giant
And with it expand it's framework model to spin in it in various ways, now? We will see, I guess
“puzzle games enveloped in copious amounts of murder” - love it!
Agreed it’s a good entry into this kind of game, not too difficult or frustrating on the default difficulty and definitely good fun. It makes me want to play more games like this.
To the OP you spend a bit of time getting used to the zoom, rotation, how to move the view away & snap back to your current position but for me literally a few minutes in things started to click and the murder..er..mission fun began. I wouldn’t call it exclusively top-down either, you can zoom in quite far and doing that + rotation is a must to play the game IMO. If it’s not for you then fair enough but too many steps? nope, I disagree + setting up a quick plan (and sometimes watching it fail dismally) is very much part of the fun.
If realtime bothers you, you could try using every move with shadow mode, I did this sometimes for dispatching four or five guards with complex distract and kill actions.
