I want to increase the pitch more to see further when being zoomed in. I don't see the point of the vertical view when zooming out: It's difficult to recognize the enemies, the paths...
And more importantly, with RT to press to have a free camera, it's not possible to move the character wile freely moving the camera! It makes the free camera unusable.
PS: I played the demo a little longer and I just can't stand the new camera system. Mimimi you guys just seem ruined the perfect camera system of the old games. If this new camera system stays on final game, I won't be buying this game unfortunately.
I want to increase the pitch. Everything is less readable than in previous games. There is some vertically in the game but the game doesn't show the relief correctly. It's hard to see if a character is crouched or not. It forces to zoom out a lot to see things far from the character.
I don't want the camera to always be centered on the character. The area to attack will almost never be all around the character. I want to be in control of the camera all the time, while moving, to show the area that I plan to attack.
I don't want to change of pitch and to switch to the map when zooming out.
It was the game that I expected the most this year but I won't play if it is to rant against the camera all the time. I restarted Aiko's Choice to compare and everything was so smooth in it. If you don't want to change default settings, please add a legacy camera option.
Just asking for clarification. Are you referring to the demo controls, or have you purchased the game and the controls many of us dislike from the demo are still in the final release?
If so, I will unfortunately have to skip Shadow Gambit. I hate the changes made to the camera, it makes the game a hassle to play, so if it's a hassle, I just won't bother.
I have purchased the game. But yea, I haven't gotten much progress in the game because of the camera change with controller.
