at least make it an option to change it, if youre set on switching things up to the new scheme. but i hope im not being dramatic when i say that control issues make or break my decision to buy this game
I didn't like the camera scheme too. That's the first thing I dislike about this game in the demo and now it's still in the full game too with tiny adjustment. I am trying to get used to it and I kind of getting there, but I still prefer ST and D3 camera.
Damn, that's bad news. The controls are too much of an annoyance for me and I simply choose not to get accustomed to them. They've worked perfectly fine for the developers previous 2 games and DLC.
I don't see why the developers felt the need to change them. I couldn’t be bothered to even complete the demo because of them. I'll just have to skip buying the game for now and check back in occasionally to see if they offer the original control scheme. What a shame.
Well, disappointed again, a few Reddit replies told me they were fixed, they probably didnt get the issues I was referring to.
Thanks for the reply and clarification. I have so many games to play right now, I'll give Shadow Gambit some more time to see if things change. If not, I may just dive in, it's just going to mess with uears of muscle memory from their previous games.
Great news! Thanks for the update.
**Edit**
First I’m greeted with happy news, then I learn that Mimimi Games. Is shutting down! This is sad, but after reading their post on their website, I understand. 😔
Yeah, no more masterpiece from Mimimi team, that's for sure, it's their last game. 😢
But they'll keep supporting Shadow Gambit for some time (not forever) as far as I know. Probably additional contents such as DLCs coming in the future.
For Desperados III it took them only 5 months from release of the game to the (final part of) the DLC. I would expect a similar timeframe
