Can't get past the character selection screen

I was able to play the game beforehand but then it had crashed and now I can't make it past the character select without it crashing again.
Anyone have any tips?

Could you please try to delete your TOME AppData folder and then verify your game files via Steam to see if that helps?

You can find it here: C:\Users\USER\AppData\LocalLow\Neo-C Productions\TOME

Hey again. I tried that and it still crashed. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and deleting my appdata then, but that didn't work either :(

I guess I'll just wait for patches and pick it up later down the line. Thanks for your help!
