Well, I'm just about to play the demo now, though seems you said this, I will surely not be buying the game!
You seem to be hung up on the fact that some images were not hand-drawn by a human being. Big deal. Content created by software, rather than human beings, is nothing new. The only difference is in this case, it's artwork. And somehow that's an unacceptable special-case to you?
Seriously if you think you can put together a game just by generating some AI art then you have really no idea about game development. All this AI art to function you have to program it, you have to come up with the gameplay elements and so on.
I personally don't care where the art comes from. What interests me is the gameplay and replayability.
I wish this game would have more levels as I already went through all of them.
What about you? Do you use AI software at all? What kind of experience to do you have that makes you qualified to judge whether images are AI generated or common CGI? What software do you think they're using?
You don't know. In fact, you don't know nothin'. AI is just a tool. Even if they use AI to generate some of the images, so what? If they're a small house, maybe they don't have the funds to hire a full staff. What then? You're saying they should just not make their game? Bull shoot.
Get off your self-righteous high horse. How do I know your post isn't AI generated? Huh? I think you're a bot just stirring up crap.
You're really upsetti spaghetti about a post I made back in April. I too frankly don't care.
No I don't use AI. No my post wasn't AI generated.
I care about artists, I hate things that come to threaten them.
... And that's literally all I have to say on the matter, if the game devs had made it clear on the store page that this game used AI, I wouldn't have bought the game and I would've just... not bothered. Easy as that.
Instead I've had to delete the game from my library as it was too late to get a refund.
That's it... that's all I have to say. If it's not enough for you... I dunno, too bad I guess.
If I were a starving artist, I would use AI-generated images for inspiration to make my own content that's even better. Perhaps even transposing multiple AI-generated images into one amazing masterpiece. That in and of itself could become a form of art and talent that employers would pay for. AI is just a tool. Humans still bring the real creativity. (That is, until the machines take over and become our overlords lol).
