It's not a bug - one of your baristas is taking orders (and this also affects the speed of making coffee). If you will have a coffee macine that will have 3 slots for baristas, then 2 will make coffee and one will take orders :)
You can also check the speed of making coffee in the Employees window, here's how it looks: https://imgur.com/a/EtR0qIx
Let us know if this is helpful :)
This needs changing.
I've seen many of times in busy coffee shop environments, where the person taking orders also goes to help the barista on the machine, it shouldn't require us to hire 3 separate baristas in-order for us to have 2 of them working on the machine...
This is how it should work in the game:
When we hire 2 people as baristas, one should always be making orders, and the other one should be taking orders, but also helping at the machine instead of just standing there waiting for the next persons order, this provides much better efficiency and realism.
This workflow doesn't seem intuitive to players. I didn't even know it affects the speed of making coffee because one was only taking orders.
If only one barista can make coffee when there's two working together, I think maybe we should be able to hire them as a 'cashier'.
But since there already are many categories of employee, I think the best way is to make every barista be able to make coffee and to take orders at the same time as Owen pointed out above. Otherwise, a lot of players could misunderstand one being at a counter is a bug.
Other than that, so far everything is good. thanks for creating such a relaxing, beautiful game.
it doesnt effect anything. just let the only barista learn his skills and all customers are satisfied, no matter how long they have to wait. they never leave the queue becouse of too long waiting times, it does not change their review, its doing absolutly nothing.
once i had 17 people waiting with only one barista. the queue was that long they stood already outside at the street. but everybody gave me a perfect review^^
by the way: i know this game has some issues atm you have to work at first, like this failed feature i already told above, the speed skill bug, the permanet stuck customers, handymen and cleaner between 2 baristas in the smelly cat caffee, cleaner are watering plants through walls and so on...
BUT PLS..: manualy paying the air cond., router, and this electricity things and manually clicking the delivery is just annoying and absoluty not fun at all.
and im missing the keybinding for time speeding: 1,2,3,4...
good game besides this few issues.
