I'll start off by saying that I liked the concept, but it felt like their were several areas where the execution was lacking. The first and most obvious was the UI. As a lot of other people have mentioned the transitions felt clunky. There were times when I clicked on an arrow and then clicked it again a few times because nothing happened. Sometimes multiple arrows showed up or flares. The first time I played the demo it got stuck in the tutorial when the first random event happened and wouldn't let me continue.

Second was it felt a bit too pessimistic for the humans. I just kept getting events where the best thing I could do was keep things normal. I only got one event that gave me a good event. Meanwhile the Prun were just getting loads of good events. Which they didn't need because they started with a utopia inclination and thousands of years of resources. It felt unbalanced. Now maybe its related to the ethics of a civilization. That would make sense in my opinion as a more ethical civilization would be more willing to work together for the long term. But that did not happen when I did finally manage to swing the humans towards utopia.

The events themselves felt oddly unconnected too. For instance the outcasts decided to invade Earth and they killed 1 billion people. And then humanity did nothing about it. The next event was whether they should support genetic crops and the fact that actual aliens invaded with superior technology and killed a seventh of the population never came up ever again. Even when the humans entered resource scarcity there was one major war event and then nothing. All the events were just the same as before when it really felt like they should have either focused on solving it or kept having those wars.

Finally there were some spelling and grammar issues. Nothing egregious, but it was noticeable.

Thank you for your feedback! We are looking into the UI issues.

The idea of the demo was to have the humans in a bad spot and to look if you can turn it around for them either if they help themselves or with the the help of the next door aliens.
In the full game you will start with an empty galaxy and only stone age societies and can form the history of the humans ( if you have humans in your play trough ) as you wish.

Definitely there are a lot of connections and follow up events missing, stuff like you mentioned, reaction events after an invasion and similar stuff. either in the small texts that come up when you collect flares or in big events that handle with these issues.
