Cutscenes are very grainy
Does anyone else have this issue? It's especially noticeable on faces, certain effects and in motion. I have motion blur and depth of field turned off. Here's a video I recorded of it with an early game cutscene. https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1h2z42k/grainy_cutscenes_in_sword_and_fairy_7_on_pc/

this is just how many cutscenes in games render. I have seen it a lot, nothing you can do

That sucks. I mostly see it in older games and lower resolution cutscenes. That's why I didn't think it was supposed to look like that.

I figured it out! I went into engine.ini and added these:

[SystemSettings]
r.MotionBlur.Max=0
r.MotionBlurQuality=0
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0
r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0
r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0
r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0
r.Tonemapper.Quality=0
r.DepthOfField=0
r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0

Also, after adding and saving the changes, right click on the file, click properties,, and select "Read Only".

These get rid of motion blur, chromatic abberation and depth of field. The only thing is that some effects are blurry from TAA. If I disable it, the game looks worse, so I guess I'll have to deal with that.
