romance and gameplay?

would like to know how this game goes as choosing main character.
is it pre made a character or you build it urself?
can you play as female? does this game have romance?

heh, I was just looking at this game and trying to work out if you have that, or if you cycle through the 4 preset characters in the trailers...mhmm?

U cant create a character. But you can play all viable character in your group, when you walk in town or fight.

The main character is a female. There are 2 male, and 2 female characters you can play.

Yes. it's a part of Sword and Fairy franchise. There are 2 couples in the games and their relationship is cute af. Ofc the gang also tease each other about it, so it's not like the team never interact with each other. The game gives us plenty of scenes of them being together and care for each other.

IMO the growth is very natural :)

I haven't played a ton of the game yet, but from what I can tell based on what I have played and people's replies, is this is much more akin to your Final Fantasy 15 style of RPG then a more western style of RPG. You have a cast of 4 characters that you can swap between, and they all have defined personalities and relationships, there's also distinct "chapters" that you go through, but it's still a "open world" rpg with exp, skills, sidequests, gear, crafting, and all that stuff. Hope that clears things up

You don't "choose" anything. It's a linear story, think along the lines of the Tales series or any other linear JRPG. There's romantic subplots, but you do not "choose" to engage with them or not, you're basically along for the ride.
