Hi there, as a Chinese player myself I can share u some information about this game.
This series is one of the most famous game series in China mainland and Taiwan since 1995 . However, Chinese games are relatively backward in technology as we have a quite late starting point so in most cases these chinese games are not well-known in non-chinese countries. I believe this is the reason that they didn't make English subs for this demo, because they didn't expect this game could get this much attentions from non-chinese players.
Back to the game itself. Last game from this series was pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ so the team is now having a crisis of trust with players, so they decided to change in this one, this is the first game made with unreal engine in the series. with lack of techniques and manpower(they have less than 10 people in the team when they first started developing this game), this demo is more like a semi-finished product than a real demo. almost all the things in this demo are unfinished and will be optimized in the future. So I believe the team will definitely introduce English translation in the future as they already got this much attentions from overseas.
Anyways, thanks for paying attention on this game, the full game is planned to be released in this year. Hope these information helps :)
