Medical Ward- Day 3 - Bud

I've followed the instructions on the holo recording to deactivated the door to leave the medical Ward, but it keep telling me i cant leave while the alarm is going. Am i doing something wrong, or is this a bug?

Hi, please set both "sleep mode" and "random mode" to "OFF" state, then turn them both "ON" again. Then reset the "settings". Turn both modes "OFF" again. And then open the door via the console.
This riddle is meant to ironically address the sometimes bad usability in a program.

I have tried that but the door wont still open

I solved the puzzle but had to solve it in a different way. I set sleep mode" and "random mode" to "ON" state, then turn them both "off" again. Then reset the "settings". Turn both modes "on" again. And then open the door via the console

Perhaps the displayed text on the buttons here is a bit misleading:
"is off [TURN ON]"
"is on [TURN OFF]"
The brackets indicate the state to be switched to.

when you said off i had to do on, and when you said on i had to do off. i had to do the opposite of what you and the puzzle said. i've watched a walk threw and they were having the same issue as me and had to solved the puzzle in the same way as i did

I was stopped too in "Medical Ward- Day 3". I am playing der the german version 1.0.2. In the Medical Ward i see the Holo-Record-Bottom - but when i use it with the cursor nothing happened - see no records. Therefore it is impossible to unlock the door (i tried every codes have seen here).
Anyone can give me a little help???

Armin, for testing purposes, could you please load a savegame that will allow you to enter the ward again? We will provide a solution for this problem later this week.

Ok, I have got the 1.0.4 --- BUT, my problem with the Holorecords seems to be in the saving-system. I make a new try with update 1.0.3 and delete the whole game (and ALL Save-Files!!!). Then play from beginning to medical ward - and now everything was okay:-)))

Now i play the update 1.0.4 (fresh installation and from beginning)
