Oak Tree

I don't understand the oak trees. I find one in Tau Caves bigger then I, so I enter through the roots, the entry is the smallest size for passage, I mean to say I cannot enter any being any larger than I am.

When I get to the end of the maze that is the roots, my progress is stopped by a black block. Am I supposed to navigate the roots even smaller? I don't understand what I'm missing.

Enter by going into the tree stem directly.There will be a plug blocks on the side of the tree that will lead you inside.

Yeah, you're not supposed to go straight into the roots, start at the shrink rings on the branch end.
