The arcade version is worse than the Megadrive

Subjective? Absolutely! I think its worse as the controls are not as responsive, enemies are thrown at you to 'munch' as many 50ps/quarters as possible, while the megadrive version is still fairly difficult but allows you to enjoy the action without dying ever 10 seconds.

I agree. Unfortunately the megadrive version isn't sold here or on Switch. You can finish the game with a reasonable amount of lives on Megadrive.

Its a shame as the SNK collection and Castlevania/Contra collections have arcade and their console variants.
