Note that I'm using the Index with a RTX 3090, and the experience may not be the same no matter the hmd you use.
The Steam version only supports SteamVR drivers.
I spent my latest paycheck on Boomer Shooters for a change. I recently played Project Doom 3.0 and was so impressed at how great it was that I immediately tried to figure out how to play it in VR, but you can't, and I already did a bunch of Brutal Doom in VR.
But I found Boltgun and Prodeus, and also remembered I bought Cutlic and Dusk, and wow are those games ever fun once you start playing them, and I had a great day off just sitting down and staring at my monitor like the old days when I could barely move my body. Of course if they were in VR so you actually had to aim, duck, and dodge until you start screaming like a woman showing her neighbours how great the sex is, except you are being sincere, then so much the better.
If only someone would make more VR games like that, but so far, all I have Amid Evil VR and Serious Sam and Serious Sam is technically really good but I have a severe prejudice against it's overall aesthetic. I tried the Risk of Rain 2 but that is the first time VR gave me a headache trying to discern what everything was.
I even saw some GZdoom releases coming out on Steam that actually look awesome, and so much fun, so I really hope a VR version of GZDoom comes out that maybe can handle those games or at least make VR versions easy enough to attempt.
Thank you so much. Finally an actual answer. Looks like it may be worth with a big discount, but otherwise can't compete with better games like Boneworks and Contractors.
He's a bit negative, and i dont know why you would compare this to gorn but boneworks is infintely superior to arizona sunshine 1, even bonelabs although a bit of a disapointment in terms of being a completed game, has incredible mechanics. If arizona sunshine 2 is mostly similar to the 1st one except for some graphical improvements and a dog, then i kind of agree overall, except for the shoot first and seek truth after kind of mentality which i actively try to resist.
The first game somtimes had a tedious feel to it which i never got from another vr shooter except maybe alyx when you are searching for ammo ( i consider that game good, but grossly overrated). I will get this game for the vr and i might be surprised at how much fun it is, but i i have been trained to expect otherwise.
Could be due to some other and older comments, Steam Support takes time to respond, I doubt his most recent posts are the reason.
