Q: Where can I report any issues I encounter?

Q: I bought the game, but don't appear to have access yet?
A: Restarting Steam usually fixes it. :)

Q: Will my VR headset work with this game?
A: We can confirm that AS2, on SteamVR, will run on:
WMR HP Reverb G2; Oculus Rift (V1 and V2); Quest 1, 2 and 3 (with Link Cable); Valve Index, HTC Vive and Vive Pro.

Q: I can't seem to run this game with Virtual Desktop, what should I do?
A: AS2 is not designed to run with Virtual Desktop, so it may lead to issues. You can either start the game from your PC the old-fashioned way, or boot it directly from within SteamVR environment.

Q: I just get a black screen on startup. What do I do?
A: Check whether your headset shows any display when your start SteamVR. If it doesn't, this means you need to troubleshoot your headset first. Check whether your cables are all connected, check whether you're running any required software (like to Oculus App if you use a Rift S or Quest with Link Cable).
If you can confirm your headset is properly up and running, and the game still won't boot, please let us know via the support page.

Q: The game crashed while I was playing. What should I do?
It's best to immediately report the crash to our support page at: https://vertigogames.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/2
There, you can also attach a log file. Your log file for AS2 can likely be found in:
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Vertigo Games\ArizonaSunshine2\Player.log
If you restart the game it's likely you won't experience the crash there again.

Q: The game looks too dark/bright?
A: In the options menu, under video settings, you can adjust the gamma, allowing you to make the game brighter or darker.

Q: When the game starts, my in-game hands are lying on the ground and aren't tracking.
A: This issue is typically occurs when the game is launched before the Oculus or SteamVR app can properly initialize the tracking.
To fix: Close the game, close SteamVR and close the Oculus App if you're running it.
Then restart Oculus and verify your hands are tracking within the menu. Restart SteamVR and verify your hands are tracking within the menu. Lastly, restart the game. This should fix it.

Q: Players can't hear me? Or I can't hear them?
A: Check whether your microphone is working within the settings of your PC. Are other apps working with the same microphone? Lastly, check whether you haven't muted VoIP in the sound settings of the game.

Sorry to hear about this. Your PC specs look completely fine. Have you tried playing without Virtual Desktop?

actually have tried new Steam link and Oculus link as well, i read there were some problems with having Citrix installed with the original arrizona sunshine for as far as i can find. So i suspected teamviewer and google remote desktop since this is run on a machine thats in a closet under the stairs (there is a screen attached however). Uninstalling made no difference.

When reporting issue, please add option to choose Arizona Sunshine 2 as an game, there is only Arizona Sunshine.

Sorry to hear you're having that issue. I don't believe we've tested specifically with the HTC Vive XR Elite, so that may be the issue, I'm going to contact my colleagues and see what we can do.

That’s right. The player can't hold the hand controller for a long time.
Such as in the aisles. I cant hold down the trigger button to keep the gun still in my hand while running.

On my quest 3 my guy doesn’t run. I’m barely faster than the zombies and get overtaken easily. My friends that I play with always zoom by me. I thought there was a button I wasn’t pushing or something that they were and came to realize they were only continuously pushing forward yet I didn’t get the same result of speed I’ve tried pushing forward and pressing the analog stick down while pushing forward with no resultant increase in speed.

Additionally on the quest we always start out in a call on our quests and inevitably during the game it cuts out where one person will not hear the other person any longer.

Exactly, pretty sure people would prefer to buy the full game not what is effectively rent the multiplayer part right now.

Especially when some of us have to have a dedicated offline router to connect quest to PC for fast speeds.

I have the exact same issue. Any fixes? I try with VD and Native - neither work.

how do i open the pause/MENU screen? on my quest 3 i can click the menu button but on steam it just opens the steam vr dashboard i tired deactivating the dashboard and remaping the menu button to y but nothing works

How do I access the menus with a Vive Controller?
I point to the watch and there seems to be an orange glow. I pull the trigger but nothing happens.
I press the menu button and it goes to the Steam Menu.
My gun belt has moved out of place and I can't adjust it.
Also ... waaaaaaayyyyyyy too dark.

been trying to play with my friend but whenever i join his game he loads in fine and whenever I load im stuck in a black screen, I can see all the subtitles and my hands but thats it.

I am encountering the same issue with a friend. We're both HP Reverb G2 and running App ID: 1540210 Build ID: 12996117 with Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Drivers 546.33. We have tested alternate older drivers without success. I have tried both WMR and SteamVR runtimes to no avail.

If I start a lobby, he joins and I can see him - but he can only see all black with the exception of his hands. We can hear each other fine. When I exit the game, he can then see the environment but of course, I'm gone.

If he creates a game lobby, I attempt to join, I see the loading screen, I see countdown (60) waiting for players.. at end of the countdown, I am kicked back to the main menu within AS2, no error message. My friend never sees me join or attempt to join (outside of my joining his lobby).

EDIT: We resolved by switching both our regions to USA; also, I think my friend hadn't correctly patched 1.1 (and I was on 1.1); at any rate, we can connect and now play without issue.
