PS: Loads of quest users use airlink to their PC hardware.
This is a massive step down from the visuals in the trailer from a few months ago which was designed to look like gameplay and less like in-game cinematic. I'd go so far as to say this might be one of the biggest visual downgrades ever seen in the industry's entire history. This looks legitimately, regarding graphics specifically, really bad. I mean, compare that to something like Dungeon Defenders from over 10 years ago and wow... looks quite comparable and that game had bad graphics for its time.
AS1 had good graphics. This one looks even better. I don't know where your expectations come from. If you don't like it, sell your VR headset.. There won't be many games that look better than this.
As you can see, I pointed out it was CG. I also pointed out it was designed to look like actual gameplay and was misleading in presentation. There are quite a few actions shown in the trailer that match actual interactions in the gameplay with regards to motion actions, shooting, etc. and much of its presentation tries to give off the feeling of gameplay despite obviously being more of a CG slice. However, with this approach it is already a bit too close of an attempt to mimic gameplay while also dramatically overhyping graphics. It actually makes zero sense why the reveal trailer's visuals are so good. It looks way better than new higher quality games like Dead Island 2. This along with other marketing efforts and the company's intentional dodging of quite a bit of information on the forums, socials, and reddit are clearly playing consumers.
This really isn't that far off from other games that have pulled similar stunts with downgrades from what turned out to be CG slices made to look like gameplay, or a mix of gameplay and cinematics, or instances like Witcher 3 and Watchdog's whole debacle.
It all rubs poorly due to these numerous combined factors on top of the actual game, literally, looking so much worse than other games and even losing to games from 12+ years ago.
Btw, the dev did not go "beyond Quest 2 graphics". I literally showed you games proving this statement wrong with irrefutable video evidence. I also showed how the game looked, literally, worse than 12+ year old games. Clearly, you missed the initial point raised by the thread creator and not your ridiculous off-topic fringe rant.
I'll post some more from Quest 2

Quest 2 visuals looking superior to Arizona Sunshine 2. I rest my case.

If you think the game will look like this on the Quest 2 (espescially lighting and shadows), you will wake up in a month and be dissapointed again.
