Infested Planet is an awesome game, a little more RTS though... you face hundreds to thousands of enemies at once, pushing your squad through and setting up on control points to hold onto.

The developer is pretty active on the steam forums and he is working on a new update to add dynamic campaign.

Nice recommendation on Creeper World 3.. I just got it and love it!
