8+ Hours in - Some Feedback for Devs

Hello all and Devs.

Fun game and a great little gem you have on your hands. I hope you continue to able to work on this as it could be really great.

Just some feedback for QoL and bugs.

In no particular order:

1) When you buy additional cars or houses, please make the offer to use/move in pop-up if they are of better comfort levels etc. or please make it automatic. I had 3 properties and was still living in the starting one for ages haha.
1.1) Please add a notice/pop-up to state that anything that is being now being rented due to additional properties purchased, is being rented. I didn't know/notice for ages.


2) As I am serving 2 years in prison for an illegal drug business, please can you add a means to fast travel through your sentence. It is becoming so painful to sit and watch every day pass and deal with clicking pop-ups.
2.1) Please also remove all pop-ups or have them on a timer to automatically clear if you cannot do the above (or not without some time to put the systems in place). Maybe adding a notice/letter/mail page so that can store and track all events?
2.2) Please also have it that time goes super, super quick. Maybe a weekly or monthly ticker update? Just anything to help with serving time, we cannot already do anything while serving time.
2.3) While in prison, you can go on vacation still. I would guess this isn't meant to be allowed lol.
2.4) I also brought and owned 100% of the shares of the company and then that was it. Nothing about being the owner or CEO etc. Nothing about picking or firing people or making business choices. I know it was an illegal company, but still.
2.5) Please also have it that you can hire a lawyer whenever or provide an option to eventually be a client to Law Firms to help. Having nothing or random events or the Yakuza is just not enough or just means being ethical for losing out on possible benefits.


3) Please allow use to also manually change the stocks colours.
3.1) Please add a little icon to show we own shares in a company when watching the Exchange stock screen... it'll just be nice.
3.2) Please also add and allow us to view stocks as 1 day, 5 days, 1 week/Month and Year. This will also allow and control the amount of scaling that the exchange has to deal with to show everything. It is hard to keep track of some lower stock values when a giant stock leaps up to 1 million+ a share that was months ago and leads to having to manually remove the stock from view to then get a more closer scale of the other stocks. It is minor but would be a nice touch.

4) I sometimes get notices about company's that are not "active" in my save or in the stock exchange screen. Not sure if that is meant to be like that or something being smoothed out.

5) When stocks increase or decrease, when you can, a % indicator with the arrows would be a nice touch


6) Stress. More ways to deal or lower stress would be nice. Got a nice car and property, but I have no means to "Go for a drive" or "Chill at home/Take time off". It is either, being invited out for drinks or getting friendships to a point you can invite people out for drinks, which currently seems you need to really build relationships up more to do.
6.1) I don't know if you can already or plan to do so, but if you are on good terms with a CEO or board member etc. or on the board your self, an option or possible outcome should be good or bad news on how things are going. The Board Meetings could be used in this way to be more useful. So far, it isn't worth going to them unless I plan to speak (mini game also needs a pop-up to introduce you to what is about to happen and how to play! So far, it seems you get random events or opportunities to pay for news on stock going up or down.
6.2) Hosting a dinner party or lavish party event when you reach a certain level or levels in Public Image etc. would be cool and help with the whole networking friendship side of the game.
6.3) Golfing and practice?


7) Probably a bug but short selling does not work for me or needs more explaining the first time doing it. I had notice a stock was going to crash, so I brought a bunch of shots against the stock and every time I went to sell when it was at it's lowest, it kept showing I was making 0 and was losing money when buying the shorts also.
7.1) On the above, it was also selling my actual shares. I tested it and I ended up making zero on them and left with no shares in the company.


8) Adding addition items to own and do. Maybe have cars to be used for racing?
8.1) Additionally, being able to buy, invest and race horse?


9) Please have the system generate a more balanced population of company types. Sometimes I have mostly automotive, engineering and construction as the majority of companies, with zero entertainment companies to pick from. I know companies can be added over time (and I don't know what the games max limit is as I started with 14) but a nice starting spread would be lovely.

10) More and varied activities with Amy (SFW of course you thirst lot haha). She really likes to walk and really likes to stay out late and drink too much...

11) Maybe if we get certain levels in Financial Success and/or Marketing Knowledge, it could lead to us having a passive ability to predict stock changes? Maybe other fun abilities with the other stats being high?

12) Manual option to start our own business. Not sure if illegal business offers are the only way in on the "bad side" and buying up stocks on the "good side", but being able to start own own legit business would be nice and depending on when we do it, with such factors as available cash to pump in etc. and our stat levels to attract skilled CEOs, staff or investors.

13) Maybe a tutorial mode or when you ask Amy for hints on things and it can then be a step-by-step guide example to put things into practice/demonstration.
