Is everything historical in this game? I'm currently at 1988 and planning on selling my shares. My company is worth around 90T yen and I have other shares and tons of houses. So would the house prices and stock market crash in 1989-90?? Should I sell everything?

if you chose the historical option, then yes. you don't have to play that way, though. when you start your run, there is an option to have it randomized.
