And to answer some of OP's questions: The game was rebranded, last time I heard. It was no longer part of BiA franchise, but entirely new IP. But other trhan the rumoured 2015 date, no news to be found. Presumably because they have been busy with Borderlands and now with Homeworld: Shipbreakers.
I wonder if we get to see this game or another BiA title (rumoured "Battle Of The Bulge"). But well, I wonder if Gearbox can make something else than FPS relying on "fun with friends" factor these days. They ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up Aliens and Duke pretty bad. And Pre-sequel was step back from Bl2 in every way.
