Movement / combat is pretty awful

Quite simply the worst movement, ADS and combat I have every experienced in any FPS game, before 2008 and since.
Did they make the aiming the way they did to make the game harder... it doesn't make it harder it just makes it tedious.. the aiming is awful dumb.
If they thought this would make the game harder... it doesn't really, it just makes every shot feel like you just stood up too quick after a few drinks down the parkinsons club.
The AI appear from nowhere sometimes and seem to hit you and make your screen red before you even see them or they break cover.


And throwing grenades sometimes is just pants, not too mention that times you throw a nade right next to an enemy and it does nothing?

it's not a bad story and the maps and graphics are decent... it's just the aiming is totally rubbish and makes for tedious slow fighting and turns a potentially great game into a drag.

You're intended to flank the enemy to get closer and shoot them where their cover doesn't protect them, even then, waiting for a few seconds after aiming will make the gun accurate as Baker steadies his aim.

You can hold down the grenade button to see where it will land.

Old post but I 100% agree. Came here to see if anyone had found and ways around it like editing a config file. Running is like gears of war but 10x worse, forced into a straight line.
And like you said the aiming is awful having to wait for the aim to steady whilst the AI insta peak hit every shot. I usually enjoy the old games, even Call of Duty 1 is still fun to play now.
Not sure I'll be able to push on playing this game.

Are you suppressing the enemy with your squad? The enemy accuracy drops massively if they're suppressed so you can go cover to cover to flank them.

No I haven't learned to utilise that yet. The enemies aren't tough enough to kill me but I just hate the aiming and running system
