Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode, as an administrator?

If the error is "General protection fault", it's because this game seems to require an older version (8.04.25) of PhysX which is located in the Redist folder inside the game directory. For other missing files, make sure you have Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable installed as well (it should be in the Redist folder too).

1. Go into the folder where the game is installed,
2. then into the "Redist" folder.
3. Go into the PhysX folder.
4. Right click on PhysX_8.04.25_SystemSoftware.exe.
5. Select run as administrator

After this the game ran for me.

Nothing happens when I run the EXE. Tried run as admin and compat mode. Physx was already installed. No error message, just never starts. I deleted physx and resinstalled the included one. Still the exe just does nothing.

Installing the bundled PhysX just fixes the "General protection fault" error. If you didn't even have that, then your problem is elsewhere. Make sure VC++ 2005 and latest DX9 are installed.

Also, check if your username has any weird characters, disable any secondary monitor and try to run the game on any GPU your computer has.
