AI possibly bugged on Hell's Highway mission

Hi all,
I have been playing through this game without many issues until the Hell's Highway mission. My Fireteam AI dont seem to want to shoot much or at all. My Fireteams just sit in cover doing nothing. I wonder if this means they are suppressed although there is no indication of this and they arent under fire half the time.No matter how long I leave them on their own they just sit behind cover. Occasionally yelling can't "Get a shot" however the Asault team has no issues. This is proving very frustrating as I need to do all the suppressing by myself to move my Assault team up resulting in me being stuck at the current spot i am on. I did notice some of these things beginning to happen in the previous mission but it didnt matter as much then.
Anyone who has finished the game able to confirm if this is an intended feature or a bug?

Forgot to update my post but restarting the mission fixed it.

restarting fixed it for me but as soon as i die and respawn everything goes bad. first base of fire team wont shoot and if i die again then my assault squad stops shooting as well. i also had a load error after you go under the bridge and attack the pak and several german infantry. it seemed that the game failed to load the new area and just had the low poly background version that was visible from the previous area. sorry about resurrecting this dead discussion.

I have the same two problems. I can't get passed the second 88 because I get smoked by enemies in the barn that I can't see and can't shoot. My squad starts taking cover on invisible objects.

A fix that's worked a few times now:

When you die or want to restart a check point, don't reload the checkpoint or let the game reload the checkpoint, go back to the game menu and select 'Continue'.

This fixed both the AI squad members failing to shoot and fixed the failure to load assets at the barn ( by the second 88 ).

This fix (exit to menu -> continue) seemed to work for me too - thanks so much. This mission is the hardest as it is and doing is solo is almost impossible. One of my favorite games ever aside from this glitch.

I managed the mission solo since your teams while not shooting will still be targeted by enemy AI whilst covering, giving you a chance to flank like crazy. However, yes this is an almost universally occuring bug.
