Hardened Nails?

Anyone found a reliable place to farm or buy these? Can't seem to find enough for the scarecrow building quest.

first island i bought mine.
the guy standing outside the tavern in starting island selling ropes and fishingrods also sells nails for 5 or 50 gold

There's also a material shop in adventurine

Cheers dudes, finally found some.

As far as I can tell the material shop in Aventurine won't sell stuff until you build the scarecrows.

The material shop actually sells you stuff, but if you start the quest they stop selling you stuff, which is kinda silly, lol.

If I just bought the nails before starting the quest I would've been ok :')
