So let me get this straight, saving in Multiplayer deletes your save?
also you can't delete your saved data because it's not a client-side option...
nothing gets deleted without you doing it manually
but in multiplayer the save is only for the person who hosts.
all players progress is bound to that save
its A RPG. you dont get to play randomly to boost yourself and join your friend after and steamroll everything.
This exactly. It's absolutely devastating. Unless you are going to host some dedicated server or something it's basically impossible to continue what you were doing if your mate has some laptop that's turned off. This is one of the worst decisions ever and there has to be a way for the devs to change this.
I don't see this game getting anything other than a "Mixed" rating whilst this is the case.
this game is toast
Then host the game? It solves all your problems. Really don't see the issue here.
