It's crossplay, I see alot more console players in game than Steam or EGS players. It usually takes 3 seconds to find a race and at most like 10 seconds, so you normally don't wait long to play.

Player base for steam usually peaks at night. 24h peak was close to 7k. Also this is on nearly ever platform, so tons of players elsewhere. I see more console players in my races than steam. Queue times for me are less than 10 seconds.

this game is cross platform and multiplayer is also cross play.
that means even before its free launch i did nto had problem finding a game for less than 2 mins.and it is here to stay as the free triple aaa cart racer.

No I just think more people are on console or mobile rather than PC for this game. It only has about 6,000 players on Steam at the time of this comment.

At the start of a multiplayer race and on the scoreboard you can easily identify what platforms others are playing on by their icons. The game has crossplay and there are many on console but I also see a healthy amount of players on Steam.

It's not dead, however it is kind of flying under the radar and has virtually no presence on Twitch which I always find weird for any relatively new title.

For a game where they really went back and got a lot of the OG voice actors, I would think they'd do more to promote it. It's a pretty good product overall too.

More like 70-90 mins. Afterwards you can play the entire game for free in most modes... that's a pretty good deal.

The game isn't dead, crossplay is a thing and I've been finding matches in 20-30 secs.
