Why does Disney choose Gameloft to make their games?
Gameloft are mobile based game developers. So there's no surprise it feels like a mobile game and has mobile game features. I feel like If it was made by a big known studio this game would have more polish and feel like a real game. :steamsad:

Disney Dreamlight Valley is also from Gameloft, and apart from some Premium Shop disappointments, it feels like a step in the right direction for the company. I was hoping it would rub off on this game, but apparently not...

Vally is beyond good. Everything we hate with this racer that game does well, sadly tho they’ll charge for characters as paid expansions after when its f2p. That’s the catch, right now its nice prices later itll be a screw you over.
So glad this game started that way, so we know what to expect moving forward, but vally was a cash grab and its worked so well, and just wait for expansions and prices then

This game is in early access.
Gameloft has released PC games in the past. Their focus is mostly mobile.

Free to play PC games have existed for a long time.

Disney has given out their licenses to many developers to make their own games.

gl said theyll move away from mobile and into more focused pc games, no one cares if f2p or paid these days most games, well every game has a paid content bp, shop, dlc some type.
what we care about tho is fair game, nice and rewarding and not pay to enjoy with the enjoyment being winning.
i saw a comment right now on other thread about mk8, that type of game and system is fine, add characters for money but also the main game is fair and full of joy its self. this game sadly is paid all over and its not fair, the odds of boxes are a killer for most let alone the racers and skill ect

+!

I can't even level up new unlocked racers because the upgrade parts were already used and there's no way to re-grind them. Not counting the dailies/weeklies but even then, a lot of the rewards there doesn't really cover new 'lowbie' racers with specific theme and/or type of racer..

Hoping that it's because it's still early access so things aren't ironed out yet.
