its like it rushes to get you in a match with someone as soon as you que and only matches with people who also pressed the que button around the same time, usually itll just be me and the same person racing against each other so if if i come in 2nd i lose a bunch of progression even when they add in the ai, and it sucks when i win cause i know its happening to them as well, i think the matchmaking should wait for more players as they join, you can say it wait for 60 seconds before you have to refresh but usually its because no one else que around the same time as you, and you shouldnt lose as much even if you come in second place

current issue now is also, since you never lose points up to plat, those before it are often empty as well, only finding up to 4 players at most which doesn't make the most exciting race when 1 is ahead and other 3 left to brawl it out
