[MOD] Might & Magic: Heroes 5.5
Hello Everyone,

I would like to introduce you to one of the greatest mods for heroes V!
The goal of MMH5.5 is to combine the majority of great futures of H5TOE, H3SOD, H3WOG, H4 Equilibris and Kings Bounty the Legend series into one 3-dimensional game to create an all-in-one TBS experience.

The mod offers:
- 30 new adventure map objects, treasure vaults and dungeons has unique interiors with larger battlefields! Armies and rewards will never be exactly the same again no matter how often you play a map!
- Advanced RMG - The advanced RMG is capable of properly balancing player starting zones and differentiate between early, mid and late game areas. It places all 30 new adventure objects and previously excluded adventure objects. The resistance is much stronger and various with 480 additional mixed neutral stack templates. The new RMG can create balanced PvP maps as well as gigantic singleplayer XXXL maps with hundreds of epic battles and all zones scaling up to crazy powerful heroes
- New Artifact Framework - Currently 34 new artifacts are added including 6 new ultimate items. The effective amount of artifacts in the game will now be the same as H3SOD. There will also be many new effects, in terms of unique effects the variation is actually far greater than H3.
- MMH5.5 Class/Skill/Spell System - MH5.5 will have might/magic and balanced classes with ingame skilltrees and 8 secondary skill option for all 24 classes!. New framework with 18 heroes per faction, 6 heroes per class, all heroes have only professional quality Ashan style portraits and many newly programmed skills and specializations. Improved experience levels allow the player to fill more slots and level up to 40.
- MMH5.5 Game Functions - MH5.5 can use the very fast reprogrammed H5_AIProcess31j.exe from Quantomas. New Quick-Combat loss correction scripts will keep the AI challenging even on the largest maps without losing calculation time.

Hello Ichthyic,

True. The skill itself is hardcoded. We would really want to make it as it was in Heroes IV.
I believe some values may be tweaked a bit but it is the same as far as it goes.

A tip, on MMH55 Advanced RMG map all creatures are hostile without a chance to join.
The only creatures that may join are the one spawned from the "Week of *creature*" event.

Yesterday we rolled a new addon that helps install NCF and configure fan made creatures with just few clicks.

Hi.
I just installed Your mod to "fix" the issues of the 2.01 Patch Steam forced upon me, including things like partly missing UI or missing Creature-abilities.

After succesfully installing, I saw that I had to play Freyas Campaign (again) to play the Dwarves, so I switched to Custom maps instead to test the mod, only to see, that all of the 5.5 maps have a fixed Faction for the player. While i can play my beloved Dwarves in one Map, there is no map for Necros or Inferno.
So my Question:
Is there a possibility to switch factions in this maps?
And, even more "urgent":
Can i - somehow - open all the Campaigns in the Campaign-mode, So I could start with wulfstan?

Thanks for the good words :)!

First the mod should only be installed overt Tribes of the East version 3.01 otherwise it will not work properly or not work at all. If you have done that lets go to the other questions.

Second, the mod gives you the opportunity to play all 3 campaigns (Vanilla, Hammers of Fate and Tribes of the East) from a single exe file. Just go to single player -> campaign and you will see the icons above the menu that represent each of the campaign chapters.

Third, when you talk about changing factions do you talk about campaigns or just standard maps?

For scenario the answer is - I don't know.
For custom multiplayer maps you can generate such maps on your own from Utility.exe -> single player -> custom game -> Generate a map. Just remember to select the "Random towns" tickbox so all players will be able to select towns of their own.

Remember that maps are generated from MMH55_Utility_64.exe while the game should be played from MMH55_64.exe

To clear up one missunderstanding:
I have the Steamversion of "HoMM V complete". This of course includes HoF ond ToE in their latest patched versions - which is 3.1 (or 3.01) for ToE and 2.1 (or 2.01) for HoF, which is buggy as hell.
Unfortunatly, Ubi never bothered to repatch HoF.
I just had the urge to play the dwarves again, so i replayed Freyas campaign, ignoring the UI-bugs, but stopped as soon as I saw the first buggy artifact (mission 4), looking for a way to fix HoF.

When i found your mod, allowing me to start the Campaigns of HoF with ToE, I found my fix - but Your mod doesnt recognizes my previously played campaign-missions. I guess, because it is looking in the ToE saveordner. I will try to copy my saves and post the outcome here.

I guess, your answer about the faction change means, that the premade maps included in the mod dont have "random towns", so i cant play them with the faction I like. I will try a random-map, maybe the mapmaker You included will generate a decend one (i have some bad experiences with randomly generated Strategiemaps).

Our RMG is actually Advanced RMG (thus the name is ARMG). It is light years ahead of what ToTe can offer. Also it makes the maps balanced for Multiplayer as well as it adds many new objects to spice up the game.

There are no polish letters in polish translation. Is there a way to change font?
Still same problem, but I changed language back to english and I'm fine with it. I would like this translation if everything was translated, I think there is even a whole polish version out there but not on steam (not 100% sure about it though). I wish that old Heroes 3 was on steam (I heard mostly bad comments about the remake).
Is it possible for 5.5 to remove the hero animations camera under battle, or is this already done? That's my biggest issue with homm5, that I always had to wait for those heroes to to their thing.
if you talk about cinematic animation - heroes that utilize melee attack always use it as there is no other way to show the hit. Heroes that shoot or cast magic when using their basic attack do not trigger the cinematic animation.

Hi everyone (sorry for my poor english, it's hard for me!).

First, thx a lot Dredknight for this amazing patch. You changed our live ! ;)

We played only LAN game with 2 friends.

We didn't understand how to play with the new map : we create a game, we find the other player thanks to "Hamachi"and when we want to join the game, there is an error message. Only on the new map ! Cause of the script ?

And then, is it possible to fill the skilwheel in game ?

Rgarding your issue if the player who try to join the map sees a red text with the letters "RMG" this means that there are no scripts activated so the map is not LAN compatible.

Please follow the guides above and let me know what happens. Please provide the exact text of the error message in case it appears again.
