keyboard and mouse isn't working

Hi! As said in title, keyboard and mouse for HoM&M V: Tribes of the East isn't working. Obviously for every other game everything works fine. Even basic edition of the game is working perfectly. I tried to reinstall the game like 5 times, games open but i can't skip the scenes at the beginning of game and in map nothing is working. Help please :(.

Right click on your .exe go into "Properties" then "Compatibility" and activate "deactive full screen optimization".

Right click your game on steam go to "properties" then "installed files".
Now go on "search".
Then go from this ...\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East to the "bin" folder
...\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East\bin.
Now you should be in the file where your H5_Game.exe is.

Or if you have an icon on your desktop use "open file path" and you will land in ...\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East\bin.

it's been a while im sorry, but after turning this off it is still not working

Try copying input.cfg or input_a2.cfg (depends on windows 7/8/10)

from:

...\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East\profiles\default_profile

to:

C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Heroes of Might and Magic V - Tribes of the East\Profiles\(profilename)

it took me a while to find those and apparently i have only profile with my username, there's no such folder as default_profiles

Then verify the gamefiles with steam. If this is right what you say it should download it.

Uninstall microsoft one drive, reinstall the game and try again.
