Default steam install uses wrong exe for HOMM5: TOE
Steam installs the game with 3.1 patch (which is great) but then runs the game from Steam runs the OLD pre3.1 exe. You have to make your own shortcut to the 31j exe. Not sure who is still playing this game but there it is.

Actually a lot of people. There are more than 2000 downloads on each of MMH55 mod releases.

Just bumped into an actual statics that heroes V is on the rise. Here is the steam stats for online players:

I believe you can double that number as most of the players are underground. Cheers.

Mine says Version 3.1 in the bottom left corner of the title screen when I just the executable from the Steam Library. So, the issue appears fixed (?).

I just bought this game and I never had that problem.I had other problems I had to go through ubisoft customer support to fix but not that specific problem.

is the problem fixed now? because I have some bugs that apparently got fixed with 3.1 but my game shows 3.1 in the main menu.
