Large map bug?

Each time, when my force grows up and begin to win -- this software keeps crash -- especially when PC player only have 1 city left... And I suffered from this bug again and again on 320x320 map... Other smaller maps are working fine.
Is there anyone got the same problem?

Hello Eisenwang,

This is a known issue caused by the reason that Heroes V exe is 32 bit application. this means that it can use limited amount of memory resources (3GB) no matter how much RAM you actually have.

One way to go around this is install and use MMH55 mod which has a 64 bit patched exe file.

If you do not want to use the MMH55 mod , just download it and install in an empty folder, take the file called UTILITY_64.exe and put it in your ToTE\bin folder.

Then use it to launch ToTe.

Dear Dredknight,

Thanks a lot for your answer. So I tried. But still failed -- I installed that MMH55 mod to an empty folder and copy the MMH55_Utility_64.exe to ToTE\bin and launch the game with this MMH55_Utility_64.exe. But the program still crashes at the same point...
Would you please kind to help again? Thanks in advance.

Hello Elsen,

Do you continue your game from a save game? I believe for some reason it may be corrupted.
Try a new game. If you want just to test just add some huge army to your hero via the editor and go ahead and reveal as much of the map as possible.

Dear Dredknight,

Oh... I started a totally new game -- But it crashes even faster... Before the game can hold until I get 7 cities, now -- it crashes when I got only 4 cities... :'( And the save file also can't be loaded -- the app will auto crash when load the save files...

Sigh... Hope the HoMM7 can fix these errors...

I have 3.1 right from steam...did the upgrade to 5.67j (55) and it worked flawless pretty much (so far). So for those FAILING, maybe you have limited ram on your 64bit? Like 8Gb or under>?
